Røros Tweed

About

Røros Tweed has produced high-quality wool products since 1940, based on a centuries-old local crafts tradition. All products are of NORWEGIAN WOOL and entirely – from raw wool to finished product – produced in Norway.

Selected wool from Norwegian sheep, combined with collaboration with leading Scandinavian designers and textile artists, has made Røros Tweed one of the most reputable producers of 100 % Norwegian-made brands.

Wool from Norway is also one of the world’s most environment-friendly textile fibers. It is the world’s only textile to be approved under the Nordic and European Eco-labels and to meet the criteria for Cradle to Cradle®.

“Everyone is familiar with Røros Tweed’s blankets. Their fabulous woollen fabrics and unique linen tablecloths are not quite as well known perhaps, but all their products are equally fantastic for the Flora Norvegica concept. When it comes to enjoying the pleasures of the table, I feel that the experience is intensified and enhanced by the setting that textiles from Røros create. Enjoy yourself, do your own thing, see the possibilities,
follow your heart!”
